Decided I should update before you guys get worried about me.
I haven't found anything too exciting. I did, however, find out that Slender Man is a big thing in the area. Lots of legends and stories. Nothing that'll help me out much though. Everyone in the stories die, without finding a way to fight back. Not too helpful at all.
I saw that people have been getting pieces of a note via email. From thetreeswatch no less. Kind of confuses me that I didn't get one.
Isaac has been acting different lately. Nicer, in a way. It's kind of odd.

Devon, did you get a piece of a note written in red?
ReplyDeleteAs I said in the post, I haven't gotten a piece of the note. I suppose TTW wants the people interested in this to figure it out. Why, I'm not sure. Might not have much to do with me.

Devon, I don't mean to pry into your personal life too much, but what exactly is keeping you in the area at this point? I assume there must be something keeping you tied down to the area, especially since you've mentioned you have family out of town before...
ReplyDeleteI'm worried. I'm thinking if we can't figure anything out by the 19th or so, you should get the hell out of town.
Basically the two things keeping me here are school, and just plain curiosity. Curiosity more than school. I may be scared, but that doesn't mean I don't want to figure out what the hell is going on here.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason I haven't left is because I'm not exactly sure if it'll help any if I do leave. Something tells me that if I fo somewhere else, this thing, or things, will just follow me there.
Besides, I don't exactly have a lot of money to travel.
ReplyDeleteDevon, Ive been reading through your blog and right now, i beleive staying with isaac is the best idea if you cant travel. Also, is there anyhting happeneing in your town on the 20th? Anygthing puiblic like a gathering or maybe a book reading where you can be among lots of people at once.. maybe have all your friends with you and near you. Safety in numbers. :) You know, just in case.
ReplyDeleteWren, Slenderman has been known to go after crowds of people in the past. I'm not sure surrounding himself with all his friends would do much good, he might hurt them all.

ReplyDeleteWe got the fourth piece of the message from thetreeswatch's twitter. That's what it decodes to. He also left another string of characters that we haven't figured out yet.
Nevermind about the other string of characters, it was posted to fix an error in the display of the first one.
