Took the time

So, I got the chance to read up on "Slender Man". Honestly, reading the stories about it and seeing pictures of it made me even more unsettled. Not to mention thetreeswatch's latest post. I'm going to spend the night reading up on this and getting as much info on it as I can.

I think I saw it again. It might have just been my imagination. I'm not sure. I lost sight of it too quick to get a picture of it. I might just keep my camera around with me at all times, just in case.

If anyone could give me more information on this... thing, I'd really appreciate it.

I really doubt this essay is gonna get done tonight.

  1. from some stories i've heard about slender, he doesn't like animals. if you've got any pets i'd suggest keeping a close eye on them.

the same way he doesn't like them, they don't like him. i think he doesn't like them because they're frightened of him, so they freak out when he's near.

  2. Yeah, I've actually noticed that my dog has been acting a bit strange. It keeps staring at the door as if there's someone there, but whenever I walk by, I don't see anything. She's never done this before. I think I'm gonna put her in my room for the night, because it's starting to get me a little freaked out.

  3. is it a sliding glass door or something?

  4. No. It's the front door. But there's a window in it, so you can kinda see outside. Enough to know that there's someone there. There's also a window in the kitchen right next to it so you can see who exactly it is. I haven't seen anything through either windows, and yet my dog stares at the door. I live alone, so it's not like she should be expecting anyone else to walk through the door.

  5. oh, okay. i get it. a house i used to live in was like that, kind of.

    just make sure that if you do see something, try not to make eye contact with it. D;

thetreeswatch seems to know a lot about this creature, i'd take his/her advice.

  6. I've definitely read about some other sightings of this thing. It doesn't like being caught on film, as far as I know. And I agree with Virus and thetreeswatch, don't try to look at its face.

There are some stories online about some other folks that have had encounters with it, but nothing that's given me any sort of secure information to tell you. Neither situation seems to be turning out well for the people involved.

  7. Oh. It definitely likes trees, and I've read a lot of stories that describe it showing up often in the fog, but that might just be people embellishing stories to make them scarier, since not all the stories I've heard have fog in them.

  8. I was taking a look at this "Marble Hornets" thing earlier. If this is what happens when I catch this thing on tape, I really regret taking pictures of it.

It hasn't gotten close enough for me to see its face. Yet. And I sure hope it doesn't get to that point.

  9. it knows what, o watcher?

is there a name we can call you, or should we just shorten what's already there?

  10. It knows that the chase has begun, it knows that its master is about to be tossed into turmoil, it knows that it must always watch the trees, him, it knows. It knows.

    Call me what you wish.

  11. i suppose i'll just call you the watcher then, it seems to fit for now.

is there anything it wants, needs, craves?
or does it just lurk in the shadows, waiting for someone to see it?

  12. So, what can we do to appease it, if you can tell us?
